The National AHEC Organization (NAO) received funding from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for a project to provide education to health professionals regarding the Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine.
The NAO HPV Immunization Project aims to educate health professionals by strengthening HPV vaccination recommendations, resulting in a decrease in missed opportunities to vaccinate adolescents ages 11-12.
Educational opportunities and resources are available for individuals to learn more about the importance of the HPV vaccination as cancer prevention using the same format and training methods as presented to over 59,000 healthcare professionals across the nation!
